Florasulam APPLICATIONS
Florasulam Biochemistry Branched chain amino acid (leucine, isoleucine and valine) synthesis (ALS or AHAS) inhibitor. Selectivity in wheat is due to differential metabolism.
Florasulam Mode of action Taken up by roots and shoots, and translocated in both xylem and phloem.
Florasulam Uses Herbicide for post-emergence control of broad-leaved weeds, especially Galium aparine, Stellaria media, Polygonum convolvulus, Matricaria spp. and various cruciferae, in cereals and maize, at rates up to 7.5 g/ha.

2, 4-D Uses
Post-emergence control of annual and perennial broad-leaved weeds in cereals, maize, sorghum, grassland, established turf, grass seed crops, orchards (pome fruit and stone fruit), cranberries, asparagus, sugar cane, rice, forestry, and on non-crop land (including areas adjacent to water), at 0.28-2.3 kg/ha. Control of broad-leaved aquatic weeds. The isopropyl ester can also be used as a plant growth regulator to prevent premature fruit fall in citrus fruit.
